Slapping a 50% tariff on Brazilian imports is just classic protectionism that'll hurt consumers, businesses, and global trade—when will politicians learn that open markets work better for everyone?

Putting up huge tariffs like this just hurts regular people on both sides and totally undermines global cooperation. If we actually want stable economies and good relations, we should be working together across borders instead of starting trade wars.

This is exactly what happens when profit-driven politics take the wheel—working people on both sides get squeezed while the elites play power games. Tariffs like this don't protect American jobs or help everyday folks; they just hike prices and hurt small farmers in Brazil who are already struggling. Instead of building solidarity and fair trade, Trump’s move will only stoke nationalism and deepen global inequality. We need international cooperation based on justice, not another round of economic bullying to score political points.

Finally, someone’s standing up for American workers and not letting globalist interests walk all over us—about time we put our own country first, even if it means paying a little more for coffee.

Honestly, it's about time we stood up for American industries and stopped letting foreign countries flood our market with cheap goods. Sure, coffee prices might go up for a bit, but protecting our farmers and reviving American manufacturing is worth it in the long run. If Brazil wants access to our market, they should play fair and stop undercutting American jobs.
